So I have a confession to make. Despite being a big sports junkie I missed the entire opening quarter of the Grey Cup. When I finally did turn it on there was something uniquely Canadian about it.

Dear Editor Shame on Rick Brace, Rogers Media and the Blue Jays ! They have no courage or class at all ! They’re unethical despicable cowards ! Gregg Zaun is one of the best sports commentators I have ever heard and seen. Maybe the best ever.

Dear Editor In his Neighbourly Advice According to Ed column earlier this month, the good Rev. Raymond Maher notes that we should love everyone, even our enemies, because this is what Jesus instructed us to do. That’s fair enough.

Dear Editor I would like to put in my two cents worth regarding the recent article in Maclean’s magazine, and the comments upon it by our mayor and councillors.

One of the most extensive reforms of our healthcare system will take place next Monday – yet the public doesn’t know too much more about what will happen than when the process was announced months ago.
