Dear Editor Jan. 5, there was an article in the Regina Leader Post, "Home Care, now and in the future".

The Yuletide is a season for sorting through memories. Sometimes a faded memory, almost gone forever, thrusts itself forward to be revitalized. One of them came to me recently.

Any media outlet worth it's salt is pumping out at least one "list" this time of year. These include "top 10" for anything from worst celebrity gaffs to the year's top newsmakers.

Have you ever asked your child to wait? Especially for something exciting, like their birthday, a visit from friends or family, or an activity. What is their usual reaction when you ask them to wait? Probably negatively.

A new year presents us with an opportunity to start new and fresh. Many people will ask you, "What is your New Year's resolution?" What will your response be this year? One of the most common resolutions is some form of being healthier.

It seems we've only just begun the new millennium and we're already at 2011.

I sincerely hope your holidays went as smoothly as mine did. My super-model partner is such a tremendous cook that her dinners were better than any over the counter stool softener that money can buy.

Dear Editor At the last Synergy Credit Union information meeting, board members stated they had not had enough information about whom the credit union may amalgamate with.

Although the World Juniors are the holiday hockey tradition, the NHL excitement is heating up. As some teams are seeing their players head to the injured reserve list others are getting served breakfast.

Well, folks, it's that time again. As we bid farewell to this year and this decade, I for one find it hard to grasp that we're hours away from the first day of 2011.
