Four arrested in P.A. after collision and flight from police

Two people were treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries due to a vehicle collision.

PRINCE ALBERT — Police say four people were arrested following a weapons call that led to a motor vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon.

On Aug. 26, at around 4:10 p.m., police were dispatched to a weapons call in the 1400 block of 1st Street East in Prince Albert. Initial information was that a complainant heard multiple gunshots before seeing a red truck speeding away on 15th Avenue East, according to the Prince Albert Police Service.

Shortly after, officers located the speeding truck near the intersection of 15th Street and 15th Avenue. Police say the truck continued before colliding with another vehicle at 15th Avenue East and 28th Street East.

The four occupants of the truck fled the scene on foot, however all four were located by members of patrol and Proactive Policing Unit (PPU) and arrested shortly after, according to police.

The two occupants of the other vehicle involved in the motor vehicle collision were treated by Parkland Ambulance Paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
