Big River RCMP received a report of a collision involving a side-by-side on Highway 55, approximately four kilometres south of Debden.
DEBDEN - Police are investigating a fatal collision that happened near Debden.
On May 24 at approximately 5:25 p.m., Big River RCMP received a report of a collision involving a side-by-side on Highway 55, approximately four kilometres south of Debden.
Officers responded immediately along with local EMS. Investigation determined a van and side-by-side collided. The sole occupant of the side-by-side was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 67-year-old man from Debden. His family has been notified.
The driver and two passengers in the van did not report injuries to police.
Big River RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
