PRINCE ALBERT — The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is investigating what has now been confirmed as Prince Albert’s third homicide of 2025 and have released the name of the victim.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on July 29, police responded to the 1500 block of 5th Avenue East for a report of a deceased male. Parkland Ambulance also responded and police announced to the public that a police operation was ongoing. The Forensic Identification Section (FIS) and Saskatchewan Coroners Service were also called and attended the scene.
Police say an autopsy was completed on July 30, and the deceased can now be identified as 39-year-old Wayne Keller. Next of kin has been notified.
At this time, no arrests have been made in relation to the homicide, say police.
