Police ask for public's help after woman found deceased

At approximately 7:45 p.m. on May 26, police were called to the 1400 block of 15th Street East for a report of a deceased female.

PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is investigating what has now been confirmed as a homicide.

At approximately 7:45 p.m. on May 26, police were called to the 1400 block of 15th Street East for a report of a deceased female.

Members of the Prince Albert Police Service Forensic Identification Section (FIS) and Major Crimes Unit were called and attended the scene.

An autopsy was completed on May 28, and the deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Dakota Settee.

Major Crimes Unit investigators are asking for the public’s assistance and looking to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Dakota Settee throughout the week of May 19 to May 26. A photo of Dakota Settee is shown.

At this time, no arrests have been made in relation to this homicide.
