SASKATOON - Average retail gasoline prices in Saskatoon are 129.90 c/L, down 3.8 c/L from last week's 133.66 c/L., according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 82 gas outlets in Regina. This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.5 c/L in the last week to 133.92 c/L, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

“It’s been a relatively calm week at the pumps across most of Canada, with nearly every province seeing average gas prices decline—except British Columbia, where prices climbed slightly due to regional supply pressures,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. “With oil prices holding in the mid-to-upper $60 range and gasoline demand beginning to ease as we move into August, there’s potential for further relief at the pump in the lead-up to Labour Day. However, this is also when the Atlantic hurricane season typically ramps up, so any disruption to supply could quickly change the trajectory for fuel prices.”
