Aggravated assault charges part of Unity RCMP Detachment weekly report

A variety of calls for the Unity RCMP Detachment for the weekly reporting period of Dec. 14 -20

UNITY REPORT

RCMP received a Liquor Act complaint but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Police attended a traffic collision in Unity. There were no injuries. Members issued two traffic tickets to the vehicle driver.

CN Police reported a damaged railway crossing arm. Reported for information purposes.

RCMP are investigating a complaint of sexual assault.

Members acted as mediators in a property dispute.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

A 34-year-old male from the Unity area was charged with Aggravated Assault after Members received a complaint of assault.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

Members spoke to an individual regarding a peace bond.

Police spoke to an individual regarding a historical investigation.

There were also two false 911 calls and two traffic complaints.

WILKIE REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Members executed a warrant of arrest on an individual in the area for another RCMP Detachment.

A 34-year-old male from Wilkie was charged with Assault after Members received a complaint of assault.

Members assisted Child and Family Services with a child welfare check.

Police are investigating a complaint of fraud.

RCMP received a complaint of a hit and run causing damage to a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

There were also two traffic complaints.

MACKLIN REPORT

RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Macklin. There were no injuries. This matter is still under investigation.

A business reported product lost during shipment. Reported as per business policy.

Members acted as mediators in a property dispute.

Police are investigating a report of an indecent act.

RCMP received a complaint of a stolen trailer. This matter is still under investigation.

Members are investigating a complaint of theft from a motor vehicle.

Police received a complaint of a stolen truck. This matter is still under investigation.

There were also three traffic complaints.
