Calgary Stampeders sign Kayden Johnson of Kerrobert

West central athlete, Kayden Johnson, a former resident of Kerrobert has been selected by the Calgary Stampeders football club

KERROBERT — Former Kerrobert resident, and elite athlete, Kayden Johnson, is now part of the Calgary Stampeders football club of the Canadian Football League.

Johnson played high school football in the west central region as well as post secondary sports with U of S Huskies and York Lions.

Johnson was initially drafted by the BC Lions but has since been training with Team Canada bobsled team, awaiting to hear if he will be part of that team.

The 6'3", 223 lb, running back, born in 1996, has worked hard from a young age to achieve his dreams of being an elite athlete.

We have reached out to Johnson and will have more on this story once he responds.

Johnson's career has been exciting to watch as it was easily seen that he was destined for a successful elite athlete career. Johnson had been chosen for the RBC Training Ground program.
