Final four looking to capture NSRBL title

Will it be the Wilkie Brewers or Macklin Lakers in the NSRBL final?

UNITY--There will be a new North Saskatchewan River Baseball League champion in 2022.  After the Brewers dumped the 2021 league champions, Kindersley Stallions, in two games of their quarter-final series, it now sets the stage for the final four in the NSRBL final.

After the North Battleford Beavers eliminated the Unity Junior Cardinals in game three of their quarter-final series on July 19, they are now set to play the Wilkie Brewers in the league semi-final.

Macklin Lakers and Standard Hill Lakers captured their quarter final series in two games so have had some time to rest up before their opening game of a best of three series in the NSRBL semi-final begins.

The Brewers and Lakers were neck and neck with the Beavers for top spot after regular season ended. Both teams have been playing fundamentally sound baseball setting them up in strong position to take on their opponents in the semi-final series, set to start the week of July 24.  Macklin will host game one at home, while the Brewers will travel to the Battlefords for their opening game of these semi-final playoffs, played in a best of three set.
