Luseland’s Bell Acres Golf and Country Club put out several social media posts about their golf season. Golf cart rentals can be paid for and keys collected at Daisy’s corner store, with a night drop box for cart keys for use once the business is closed. The club was in full swing as of April 26. Bell Acres has announced the addition of easy payments so they could now accept contactless tap cards, pin and chip cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and of course, cash.

Luseland is also offering golfers another opportunity for golf lessons, which will take place June 2, 3 and 4 and ask golfers to stay tuned to their social media for more details as the event draws near.

Macklin’s clubhouse opened at 9 a.m. April 30 and offered free coffee and doughnuts for the early birds. Golf season is now officially underway at their golf course.

Unity announced their greens were open April 29 after the tarps were taken off April 27, thanks to volunteers. Unity has experienced an increase in golfers since being allowed to re-open post-pandemic. A dedicated executive continues to keep the course in pristine condition for the enjoyment of all who participate whether experienced, recreational or new golfers.

Wilkie announced through their social media that their season was officially open May 1. Their Facebook page outlined the season's prices for membership, rounds and rentals.

While some golfers admit they were brushing up their golf game during winter either when travelling down south or at a virtual golf place, others were happy to be back on the links for the season saying there is nothing like being outside. With daytime highs expected to be in double digits, golfers are on board to take advantage of the nice weather and sunshine.
