Police receive complaint of a stolen vehicle, located burned in rural area

A 49-year-old male was charged with multiple charges including assault on police office, resisting peace officer and two counts of uttering threats.

Unity Report

Unity RCMP requesting information on recovered vehicle and are asking that anyone with information about the vehicle recoverd burnt the morning of March 18, north of Phippen, contact the Unity RCMP at 306-228-6300.  

The Unity RCMP would also like to remind area residents to remove their keys from their unattended vehicles to protect your vehicles/ valuables and discourage thieves from targeting the area.

RCMP received a complaint of harassing communications. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received a request from Edmonton Police Services to provide a next of kin notification to an individual in the Detachment area.

Police received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of another RCMP Detachment.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

A 49-year-old male from Unity was charged with two counts of assault on police officer, resist peace officer and two counts of uttering threats after Members received a Mental Health Act complaint.

Members are investigating a complaint of fraud.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Unity. Reported for information purposes.

RCMP received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.

Members attended a traffic collision in Unity. This matter is still under investigation.

There was also one traffic complaint and one false 911 call.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a report of an individual trespassing in a residence yard. Members attended but could not locate a subject of complaint.

Police received a complaint of an individual not complying with a probation order. This matter is still under investigation.

An individual turned in a safety deposit bag that was located on the street. The bag was returned to the owner.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Members received a request from Saskatoon Crown Prosecution office to serve subpoenas to individuals in the Detachment area.

A 40-year-old female from Battleford was charged with fail to comply with probation order after Members received a complaint of public intoxication.

Police received a complaint of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later located burned in a rural area north of Phippen. This matter is still under investigation.

Macklin Report

RCMP received a report of an individual trespassing on residential property. This matter is still under investigation.

Members spoke with an individual regarding a release order.

Police received a complaint of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint. Emergency Medical Services transported the subject of complaint to Provost Hospital for assessment.

Members received another Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Members received a request to keep the peace while an individual retrieved personal belongings from a residence.

RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.

There was also one false 911 call.
