UNITY REPORT
RCMP conducted a well-being check at the request of a concerned citizen.
An individual turned in a cell phone that they found.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
Members provided traffic control while a tow truck pulled at semi into the correct lane after it jack-knifed due to icy road conditions and was blocking Highway 14.
RCMP received two separate reports of a single vehicle collisions on Highway 14 west of Unity. There were no injuries in either event. Both collisions were due to icy road conditions.
CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in a rural area near Unity. Reported for information purposes.
Members received a request to assist Unity Health Centre with a patient. The Health Centre cancelled assistance before Members could attend.
Police received a report of BB gun shots in Scott. The complainant called back to inform Members it was ice cracking due to temperature fluctuations.
There were also two traffic complaints and one false 911 call.
WILKIE REPORT
RCMP received a complaint of theft, but it was unfounded.
Police received a report of disturbing the peace. The subject of complaint was gone on arrival.
CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in a rural area near Unity. Reported for information purposes.
MACKLIN REPORT
RCMP assisted Child and Family Services with a Child Welfare concern.
An individual turned in a bag containing personal property. The owner has not been located.
Police received a report of a lost wallet. The wallet was located by the owner.
RCMP received a complaint of an unwanted individual in a hotel room. Members attended and transported the individual to Provost Hospital for a medical assessment.
There was also one false 911 call.
