Unity RCMP Detachment conducted a well-being check at the request of an employer

RCMP received a complaint of assault and the matter is still under investigation as part of their weekly policing report for Jan. 3-9

Unity Report

RCMP received a report of a barn on fire near Unity. Unity Fire Department extinguished the fire which was not suspicious in nature.

Police received a report of a two-vehicle collision near Unity. There were no injuries, and no charges were laid. Members provided traffic control while the vehicles were towed.

Members received a complaint of an individual damaging property in a rural area near Scott but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Members received a report of a missing person. The complainant later contacted RCMP to state the individual had been located.

There were also four traffic complaints, one false alarm and one false 911 call.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of a stolen vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

There was a complaint of disturbing the peace. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Members are investigating a complaint of uttering threats.

There was also one traffic complaint and one false 911 call.

Macklin Report

RCMP received a complaint of criminal harassment. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of an employer.

Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace. Members attended but could not locate the subject of complaint.

RCMP received a complaint of a stolen vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

Members acted as mediators in a family dispute.

Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.

RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at a business. This matter is still under investigation.
