Unity RCMP investigating complaint of sexual interference

A single-vehicle rollover east of Macklin resulted in no injuries and was reported for insurance purposes.

Unity Report

RCMP received a complaint that was discovered to be part of an internet joke. Members identified the subject of the complaint who was advised of the seriousness of false reports and warned of public mischief charges.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a co-worker.

Police received a report of a dog attacking another dog. Members made a referral to the bylaw officer.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction at Unity. Reported for information purposes.

RCMP received a report of an individual looking in vehicle windows and checking vehicle doors in a parking lot in Unity. The subject was identified and spoken to in regards to activities.

Police received a noise complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning.

Members received a report of a combine fire near Wilkie. Wilkie Fire Department extinguished the fire which was not suspicious in nature.

RCMP are investigating a complaint of sexual interference.

Police received a complaint of persons being unlawfully in a business in Unity. This matter is still under investigation.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family friend.

RCMP acted as mediators in a property dispute. Members informed both parties that the complaint was a civil matter.

Police received a complaint of intoxicated individuals at Unity and District Heritage Museum. Members patrolled but could not locate the subjects of complaint.

There were also two false alarms, one traffic complaint and one false 911 call.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a complaint of an individual attempting to gain access to a motor vehicle. Members patrolled but could not locate the subjects of complaint.

Police received a Child Welfare Act complaint. Members made a referral to Child and Family Services.

Members received a report of an abandoned vehicle but later called back to say the vehicle was no longer in the area.

RCMP received a request to keep the peace while an individual retrieved personal property from a residence.

Macklin Report

RCMP spoke to an individual regarding a child custody agreement.

Police received a complaint of a suspicious female riding a bicycle in a field west of Macklin. Members patrolled but could not locate the individual.  A variety of property items were located in the field and were seized by police.

RCMP received a complaint of trespassing. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.

Members spoke to a property representative with regard to an individual trespassing on residential property.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the complainant who reported the incident for information purposes.

RCMP received a complaint of theft but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP are investigating a complaint of possession of child pornography.

RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover east of Macklin. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

There was also one traffic complaint.
