It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila Donna Widenmaier on May 22, 2025, at The Dr. F.H. Wigmore hospital with family by her side. Donna worked as a caregiver at Extendicare for many years and enjoyed travelling until her health would not allow. 

She was predeceased by her son Richard Egan, her daughter Ursulla Andres, and her husband Donald Widenmaier. Together again. She was also predeceased by her parents Maria Schulties and David Schulties;  her brothers Walter, Gordon (Clara), Elmer (Gladys), and Kenneth (Sharon);  her sisters Julia (Allan) Baldwin, Ruth Sawchuk, Martha (Art) Gorrigsen, Francis (Harry) Lohr, Doris (Carl) Anderson, Jenita (Ernie) Schulties, Shirley (Edwin) Parker and Betty (Chuck) earned. 

She will be forever missed by her partner Kevin Vielleux, her sister Dorothy (Wayne) Hall and brothers Doug (Carola) Schulties and Charles (Carol) Schulties and special niece Bev (Ted) Dowdy. In addition, she will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Many thanks to the staff of the ER and ICU at the Dr. F.H Wigmore Hospital for their excellent and kind care. And to Kevin: the family thanks you beyond words for being there for Donna and being her caregiver and companion for many long and hard years. We will be forever grateful for the loving care you gave her. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Rosedale Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Andrew Pratt, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com.
