January 30, 1953 - June 11, 2025, aged 72 years.
In Loving Memory of Sue Binkley.
Born in Hudson Bay, the youngest of five and the only daughter, Sue’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and dedication. She peacefully passed away at home on June 11, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of warmth and generosity.
Sue was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, "boss" and friend. She found immense joy in serving others, whether through her work alongside her husband at the Country Squire in Fort Qu’Appelle, Fisherman’s Cove at Greenwater, Duck Mountain Lodge at Madge Lake, and V&S Service at Kelvington. Once retired, Sue became a staple as "Grandma Sue’s Pies and Pastries" at her daughter’s summer markets. Serving others and making people smile was her true calling.
Sue was predeceased by her beloved parents, Grace and Gilbert Wourms, and her brothers Delmar and Lionel. She leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years, Vaughn, and her devoted daughters Wendy (Glen), Joanne, and Sandy. A proud grandmother, Sue adored Britney (Brodie), Brayden (Andrea), Jordan (Meghan), Jesse, and Makayla, and she held a special place in her heart for her great-grandson, Bowen. She is also survived by her cherished brothers Gerald (Gwen) and Garnet, niece Susan (Nolan), and nephew Mathew.
Sue treasured her time fishing with Vaughn and taking long road trips with him and their good friends. Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering love touched everyone she met, creating lifelong friendships and precious memories.
Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved, and she will be deeply missed.
In keeping with Sue's wishes cremation will take place and a family service will be held at Kelvingrove Cemetery, Kelvington, Saskatchewan in the month of July, 2025. Donations in memory of Sue may be made to Paws and Claws, Yorkton
