REGINA — SaskEnergy has been named one of “Canada’s Top 100 Employers” for 2023. Published annually by Mediacorp Canada Inc. since 2000, Canada’s Top 100 Employers is an editorial competition that recognizes the nation’s best places to work.

Competition judges cited SaskEnergy’s maternity and paternity leave options, defined contribution pension plan, and hybrid remote-work policy as some of the reasons for naming the company a Top 100 Employer.

“SaskEnergy has really been on a roll this year in terms of national recognition for who we are and all the good work that we do,” SaskEnergy’s Acting President and CEO Mark Guillet said. “I’m extremely proud of this latest accolade, which is a tribute to our company’s workplace culture of safety and inclusion, to the emphasis we place on innovation and customer service, and also to the efforts of our entire workforce as we strive to deliver critical energy for a greener Saskatchewan.”

Being named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers comes in the same year that SaskEnergy received three national awards for environmental innovation from the Canadian Gas Association.

Employers selected for Canada’s Top 100 Employers 2023 were announced in a special magazine published in The Globe & Mail.
