REGINA - Jesse Weber and six of his closest co-workers are celebrating a lottery win after their Lotto Max ticket won $100,000 on the June 2 Extra draw!

“I was scanning tickets on the Lotto Spot app,” said Weber. “When I got to this ticket, I almost fell off the couch!”

The Rouleau local said he wasted no time letting his co-winners – Barbara and James Worman of Marshall, Trent Rillet, Joletta Littlewolfe and Petrika Nepjuk of Yorkton and Duane Hare of Spiritwood – know the good news.

“I sent a screenshot to the group right away,” he said. “Most of them didn’t believe me at first, but everyone was very happy!”

Weber said the group has similar plans for their respective $14,285.71 portion of the win.

“Funny enough, a few of us had already planned a group trip to Cancun in February 2024,” he laughed while claiming his prize. “I think for me, I’ll use whatever is left to pay some bills.”

Weber purchased the group’s winning ticket from Fas Gas Plus, located at 1-415 Circle Dr. East in Saskatoon. The group won their $100,000 prize by matching the last six digits of the Extra number drawn on June 2 – 2814329.
