SASKATCHEWAN — Most of Environment Canada's extreme cold weather warnings for Saskatchewan have been ended. Only the Fond-du-Lac - Stony-Rapids and Wollaston Lake - Collins Bay areas in the far north are still under an extreme cold warning.

Most areas of Saskatchewan have been experiencing a prolonged period of very cold wind chills with overnight lows near -30 degrees or colder, combining with light winds to produce dangerous wind chill values of -40 or lower. Weekend temperatures will move much closer to 0 for most areas.
