SASKATCHEWAN - Much of the Prairies continues to experience extreme cold, with wind-chill values having dipped below minus-50 in some areas overnight.
Northern Saskatchewan and northern Manitoba saw wind chill hit minus-50 last night.
The southern parts of those provinces, along with northern Alberta, saw wind chill in the minus-40s.
Environment Canada says wind-chill values may moderate slightly during the day but the extreme cold is expected to return this evening.
