REGINA — A section of 11th Avenue in downtown Regina will be closed for up to four months as upgrade work continues.
Starting at 8 a.m., the stretch of 11th Avenue between Lorne Street and the alley west of Hamilton Street will be closed daily until 7 p.m., the City of Regina said in a release.
A private contractor is carrying out the work as part of a broader project to improve infrastructure along the busy corridor.
Transit users are encouraged to check with Regina Transit for updates on any service disruptions or detours that may affect routes or bus stops in the area.
The City thanked residents for their patience and reminded drivers to slow down in construction zones.
