REGINA — Despite releasing almost a year from now, early tickets for Christoper Nolan’s The Odyssey have sold out in Regina.
On IMAX’s website, screenings for the film from July 16, 2026, to July 19, 2026, have no more tickets available.
Advanced tickets for the film were released in Regina and 25 other locations around the world in the middle of July.
Other IMAX locations in Canada have also sold out advanced tickets for the film, including Cineplex Cinemas Mississauga Square One.
The Odyssey follows Odysseus, king of Ithaca, as he embarks on a perilous journey to return home after the Trojan War.
No trailer for the film has been officially released, but a trailer for the film leaked online a month ago.
The total runtime of the film also hasn’t been announced.
The film is being shot entirely with IMAX Film cameras, and will have the same viewing experience as Oppenheimer.
It’s unclear if there will be more advanced screening for the film down the road.
