REGINA — The Regina Police Service (RPS) has made an impact so far patrolling the Queen City EX (QCX).
Per their social media, police have handled six calls for services over the first two days. These include disturbances, altercations, and medical emergencies.
RPS Acting Chief Lorilee Davies on Tuesday said police will be working with local security and the Regina Exhibition Association Ltd. (REAL) to have a “good line of ways.”
Davies also mentioned having a larger presence at the fair.
“Will have officers in uniforms and plain clothes to ensure we have eyes and ears out at all parts.”
The RPS have also helped 30 children reunite with their families.
Officers will remain on scene during the weekend.
