House fire on Rae Street in Regina brought under control by crews

REGINA — Regina Fire said crews responded to a house fire in the 1200 block of Rae Street where they encountered heavy smoke and fire conditions on arrival on Aug. 19. 

As of 12:30 p.m., officials said the fire has been brought under control. Crews remained on scene completing searches inside the home.

"Crews are on scene of a house fire on the 1200 Blk. of Rae St. Heavy smoke and fire conditions on arrival. The fire is under control with crews working to compete searches. Fire will be under investigation," Regina Fire said in a post on their social media page.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
