REGINA – A 39-year-old male faces several charges after a Regina Police Service investigation into two recent sexual assaults.
On April 11, police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Sandra Schmirler Way for the report of an injured person. When police arrived, they found an injured adult female, and learned that she had been the victim of a sexual assault.
On May 3, police were dispatched to the same area, where it was reported that a female had been robbed and sexually assaulted. Police arrived and attended to the victim.
Both victims reported they were in the North Central area when they entered a white pick-up truck. They were then driven to an area west of Lewvan Drive on 13th Avenue where they were assaulted.
On May 8, police located and arrested Christopher Adam Seitz of Lumsden and charged him with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by choking, suffocating or strangling, robbery, and sexual assault.
Seitz appeared in Regina court on May 9.
