REGINA — Regina drivers will need to watch out for some new road restrictions Tuesday morning, Sept. 2.

Starting 9 a.m., Ring Road from the CP Rail Bridge to the Assiniboine Avenue Overpass will be restricted for three days while maintenance crews work in the median. Restrictions will move as crews progress from one end to the other.

Starting at 8 a.m., 15th Avenue from Toronto Street to Montreal Street will be closed intermittently until Friday, Sept 5, for building construction.

Starting at 6 a.m., Broad Street southbound at 11th Avenue will be restricted to one lane for four days while crews work near the curb lane. The west sidewalk is also closed to pedestrians. This is part of the 11th Avenue Revitalization Project.

Starting at 6:30 a.m., 3rd Avenue from McIntosh Street to Connaught Street will be closed for 10 days while crews work on the road surface.

Starting at 8 a.m., Retallack Street from 9th Avenue to 10th Avenue will be closed for one month while crews replace waterlines.

Other new restrictions include Henderson Drive from Maxwell Crescent to Sioux Street, which will be restricted for two weeks while crews install new sidewalks. Access to businesses will be maintained. This work began Aug. 28.

Also on Aug. 28, restrictions began on University Park Drive from Arens Road to Quance Street, which are set to last until mid-September while an external contractor completes work.
