It was an initiative to help recognize responsible driving in the community.

REGINA — Tuesday, Regina Police Service Traffic Safety Unit officers handed out positive tickets to drivers observed following the rules of the road.

The RPS says instead of fines, recipients were surprised with giveaways like tickets to this weekend’s Roughrider game, Gainer plush toys, footballs, and more.

RPS partnered up with SGI and the Saskatchewan Roughriders who supported the initiative to help recognize responsible driving in the community.
