REGINA — The City of Regina's spray pads officially opened May 23, offering families a free way to stay cool and active as temperatures begin to rise.
Open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., the spray pads are now operating at all locations across the city, with the exception of Kinsmen Park South, which will open May 26, and Rick Hansen Optimist Playground, scheduled to open May 29.
The city operates more than a dozen spray pad locations, giving residents easy access to summer recreation close to home. A full list of sites can be found here.
“Spray pads are a great way to enjoy the outdoors, get active, and cool off,” the city said in a media release issued May 23.
Spray pads typically remain open through the summer, weather permitting.
