Sask. ICE charges Regina man with child exploitation offences

Electronic devices were examined on scene and seized by investigators.

Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service.

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a 31-year-old Regina man on Aug. 7 with child exploitation offences.

On May 15,  the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Regina. Electronic devices were examined on scene and seized by investigators.

As a result of the investigation, he was charged with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.

His next appearance is set for Sept. 16 in Regina Provincial Court.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
