REGINA — Drivers in Regina can expect traffic disruptions on several streets Wednesday due to planned road and water system repairs.
Westbound traffic on Avonhurst Drive at Rae Street will be restricted between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. while a private contractor completes roadwork.
Fines Drive, from Coleman Crescent to Thomson Avenue, will be fully closed between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for water system repairs.
Meanwhile, Winnipeg Street, between Arcola Avenue and Ninth Avenue, will also be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for road repairs.
Transit users are encouraged to check with Regina Transit for possible impacts to bus routes and stop locations.
The City of Regina thanked residents for their patience and reminded drivers to slow down in construction zones.
