REGINA — Several key Regina roads will be affected by traffic restrictions Thursday, July 3, as crews and contractors carry out infrastructure work.

1st Avenue North will be restricted in both directions between Albert Street and McIntyre Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. while a private contractor completes work.

On Broad Street, southbound lanes will be restricted from Dewdney Avenue to Saskatchewan Drive between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. as paving work gets underway.

Meanwhile, McIntosh Street will be closed from Alcove Place to Sherwood Drive between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for water system repairs.

Transit users are encouraged to check with Regina Transit to see if the work affects their routes or stops.

The City of Regina thanked residents for their patience and reminded motorists to slow down in construction zones.

Up-to-date road work details are available through the city's Road Report.
