REGINA — A series of traffic restrictions and road closures will begin Monday across several key streets in Regina as city crews and contractors carry out infrastructure work.

Starting at 9 a.m., 9th Avenue North westbound will be restricted between Lorne Place and Hesse Bay for five days while concrete work is completed.

Halifax Street will be closed between 13th Avenue and 14th Avenue beginning at 8 a.m. for two days to allow for road repairs.

Southbound traffic on Park Street will be restricted from 4th Avenue East to 7th Avenue East beginning at 7 a.m. as part of the ongoing Park Street Upgrade Project.

On Parliament Avenue, two separate eastbound restrictions will begin at 7 a.m. and last for seven days: one between Albert Street and Spence Street, and another from Turnbull Place to Bell Street. Both closures are for sidewalk repairs.

Winnipeg Street southbound will also be restricted between 11th Avenue and Saskatchewan Drive starting at 9 a.m. for three days while water system work is underway.

Transit riders are encouraged to check with Regina Transit to determine if their routes or bus stops are affected by any closures.

The City of Regina thanks residents for their patience and reminds all drivers to slow down in construction zones.

More information on current roadwork is available through the city's Road Report
