REGINA — Drivers can expect traffic restrictions across several parts of Regina beginning Friday, as city crews and private contractors carry out road and sidewalk repairs.
1st Avenue North between Lewvan Drive and McCarthy Boulevard will be restricted in both directions from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for contractor work.
13th Avenue westbound at Arthur Street will also be restricted from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. while sewer cover repairs are completed.
Hillsdale Street, from MacPherson Avenue to Kramer Boulevard, will see restrictions in both directions between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. for private contractor work.
McDonald Street, from Broadway Avenue to 18th Avenue East, will be restricted in both directions starting at 7 a.m. for 12 days as crews work on sidewalk repairs.
Wascana Parkway, eastbound at Ring Road, will be restricted for two days starting at 7:30 a.m. for contractor work.
Winnipeg Street, northbound from 19th Avenue to Broadway Avenue, will also be restricted for 12 days beginning at 7 a.m. while sidewalk repairs are underway.
The City of Regina advises transit users to check with Regina Transit to determine whether their routes or stops are affected.
