Update: 26-year-old man found deceased in Saskatoon, death is suspicious

Police responded to a disturbance in a parking lot in the 400 block of Confederation Drive this morning. Now they are investigating a suspicious death.

SASKATOON — Update: The Saskatoon Police Service says it is investigating a suspicious death.

Members of the Saskatoon Police Service have concluded their presence at 400 block Confederation Drive following an incident Saturday morning that resulted in the death of a 26-year-old male.

At approximately 9:45 a.m., police responded to reports of a disturbance in the parking lot at this location. The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Major Crime Section.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has information that could assist investigators, to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300. Anonymous tips may also be provided through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

At approximately 9:45 a.m., Aug. 30, police responded to a disturbance in a parking lot in the 400 block of Confederation Drive. Upon arrival, a 26-year-old male was found deceased. 

The public is asked to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
