Cash, cocaine, fentanyl seized in Saskatoon drug bust

SASKATOON - Two men are facing a combination of 28 charges following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit.

On June 13, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit conducted enforcement action in relation to a drug trafficking and firearms investigation. Two men, age 36 and 58, were arrested without incident in the 200 block of Betts Avenue with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit. Following their arrests, investigators executed search warrants on a vehicle and residence in the 400 block of Veltkamp Crescent.

Through the investigation, the following evidentiary seizures were made: $3,800 CAD, loaded handgun, 518.34 grams of methamphetamine, 255.06 grams of cocaine, 111.51 grams of fentanyl, scale, cell phones, and packaging case of jewelry.
