SASKATOON — The City of Saskatoon announces the 2025 Living In Harmony Award recipients today, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and during Cultural Diversity and Race Relations Month.

These awards recognize outstanding achievements in contributing to community harmony through the elimination of racial discrimination.

2025 Award Recipients

High Schools Student Group Award: Newcomer Youth Engagement Program at Mount Royal Collegiate, E.D. Feehan High School, and Nutana Collegiate

High School Student Group Award: Mount Royal Art Students/ Mustang Creations

Elementary Student Group Award: Brownell School students and staff

Elementary Individual Student Award: Mylana Shekera - Chief Whitecap School

Honourable Mention – Elementary Student Group: Samiksha Reddy, Annapa Reddy (Grade 8) and Mahiksha Reddy (Grade 4) at Colette Bourgonje School

Honourable Mention – High School Individual Students: Gabbi Taras and Skyla Jennings at Mount Royal Collegiate

Community Impact Award: Maria and Teedly Linklater

Nominations/submissions were accepted between Feb. 3 and March 5. The winners were selected by the City of Saskatoon's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Committee.
