SASKATOON - Two men are facing charges following the conclusion of an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Crime Reduction Team (CRT).
Just before 5 p.m. on May 21, two men, age 41 and 32, were arrested at a residence located in the 600 block of 9th Street East, and a search warrant was executed with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit. The men were found inside the residence and are facing a total of five charges for possessing materials used to produce and/or traffic a controlled substance, possession of identity documents of another person, possession of forged documents, and weapons offences.
Both males were transported to SPS Detention and have been remanded pending their first court appearance on May 26.
As a result of investigation, the following evidentiary seizures were made;
- 31 stolen pieces of identification
- 11 counterfeit identification documents
- Knives
- Cellular devices
- Fentanyl production supplies
- 94 grams of caffeine (buffing agent)
- 564 grams of sweeteners (buffing agent)
- 7mm rifle ammunition and magazine
- .22 caliber ammunition
- .22 caliber revolver
- Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
Additional charges may be laid in the future.
