SASKATOON — Two males, ages 17 and 21, are facing charges following an incident outside a business in the 1600 block of Idylwyld Drive North.
Police were called to the location at approximately 7 p.m., July 10. A man reported that he was holding his car door closed as two unknown males were attempting to enter his vehicle. He reported that they also tried to steal his cell phone before fleeing.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who was unharmed, and found the two suspects nearby. They were both arrested for public intoxication and found to be in possession of bear spray.
They are both facing charges of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, carrying a concealed weapon and breach of probation.
