SASKATOON - A 24-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing charges following a weapon-related incident last night.
At approximately 9 p.m., June 17, police were called to the 300 block of Avenue Q South.
It was reported that a group of males were possibly armed with a weapon at the address.
Upon arrival, officers observed a female who was armed with a machete.
As she was taken into custody, several males at the scene fled on foot.
One of them was seen to be carrying a handgun.
Officers were not able to locate them.
The woman is facing two counts of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace (machete and bear spray).
