Police ask for public's help identifying man found deceased

On June 22, a deceased man was located in the South Saskatchewan River, south of the University Bridge along the east bank.

SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting public assistance in identifying a man that was located deceased over the weekend.

Shortly before 10 a.m., June 22, a deceased man was located in the South Saskatchewan River, south of the University Bridge along the east bank.

An autopsy has been completed, and while foul play is not suspected, investigators have been unable identify the individual.

He is described as having a dark complexion, between the ages of 20 and 25, 5'9" in height, and 142 lbs. He has short, curly black hair and brown eyes, and has no visible scars, marks, or tattoos.
