SASKATOON - One man was taken to hospital following a stabbing last night.
At around 11 p.m. on May 20, police were called to the 2200 block of 22nd Street West for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from what was believed to be a non-life-threatening stab wound. Further investigation found that the victim was walking in the area when he was confronted by two men and stabbed; the suspects then fled the area. It is unknown if the suspects and victim knew one another.
Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
