SASKATOON - One man was arrested following a robbery yesterday.
At around 4:30 p.m. on May 28, police were called to the 2000 block of Airport Drive for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been checking bins for recycling when an unknown man approached him, threatened him with a rock, and stole his electric bicycle. Officers located the suspect riding the bike a short distance away minutes later; he was arrested without incident.
As a result, the 31-year-old man has been charged with robbery.
