Programs winding down as summer wanes

City’s summer programming and attractions coming to a close for the 2025 season.

Most City of Saskatoon summer programs and attractions will be wrapped up by Labour Day.

SASKATOON — As the end of August approaches, the city’s summer programming and attractions will be wrapping up for the season. The last days of operation will be:

  • Summer Youth Centres Thursday, Aug. 14
  • Summer Playground Programs & Paddling Pools - Last day for weekend programming is Sunday, Aug. 17 and last day of weekday programming is Tuesday, Aug. 19. Locations will have staggered closing times. Refer to the Where to Play Google Map at saskatoon.ca/play for hours of operation on the last day of operation.
  • George Ward Outdoor Pool - Sunday, Aug. 17
  • Mayfair and Lathey Outdoor PoolsSunday, Aug. 24
  • Riversdale Outdoor Pool Monday, Sept. 1
  • Spray Pads - Monday, Sept. 1
  • Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park - Monday, Sept. 1
