Saskatoon police seize drugs, vehicles and weapons; charge six

SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit has concluded a two-month investigation into high-level drug traffickers in Saskatoon with arrests and the seizure of drugs, weapons, cash and vehicles.

SPS says six people, ages 21, 25, 29, 21, 22 and 19 are all charged with a variety of drug trafficking charges in relation to cocaine trafficking.

With the assistance of the SPS Tactical Support Unit, Vice Unit, Crime Reduction Team, Guns and Gangs Unit, Air Support Unit, and Alternative Response Officers, the investigation concluded on Aug. 6, when the accused were arrested and search warrants were executed at four residences in Saskatoon.

Search Warrants were executed at:

  • 900 block of Duchess Street (residence)
  • 800 block of Wollaston Crescent (residence)
  • 2000 block of 22nd Street West (residence)
  • 300 block of Herold Road (residence)

The investigation resulted in the following evidence being seized:

  • 106 grams of Cocaine
  • 6.25 grams Psilocybin
  • 19 Xanax Bars
  • $46,470 cash
  • 4 airsoft replica handguns
  • 1 can of bear mace
  • Other drug paraphernalia
  • 2017 Nissan Altima
  • 2007 Buick Allure
  • 2012 Subaru Impreza
  • 2017 Nissan Maxima
