SASKATOON - Update, July 8, 10:06 a.m.: Following a continued investigation, police identified, located, and arrested two suspects in relation to a robbery at a mall in Saskatoon last month.
As a result, a 36-year-old man has been charged with possession of property over $5,000 used in an offence and possession of property over $5,000 obtained in an offence, while a 35-year-old woman has been charged with robbery and possession of property over $5,000 used in an offence.
Members of the General Investigations Section are continuing to investigate.
Original post, June 5, 2:07 p.m.: Police are investigating following an armed robbery at a mall yesterday afternoon.
Shortly before 2 p.m. on June 4, police were called to a business within a mall in the 3500 block of 8th Street East for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that two masked men carrying bags entered the mall armed with axes and proceeded directly to a business within; they then smashed multiple display cases and stole several items before fleeing the area.
The suspects have not been located; however, police are continuing to investigate.
