SASKATOON — A 21-year-old woman is facing a charge of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace after a knife-wielding incident.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., July 13, police were called to a shopping mall parking lot in the 100 block of Primrose Drive.

It was reported that a woman was armed with a knife and had been screaming and smashing glass. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect as she exited a business, still armed with the knife. She was taken into custody without incident.
