Night Jesus was Born is an unique display of over 900 nativity scenes depicting the birth of Jesus. The event takes place on December 1 and 2 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on December 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A total of 55,086 head of cattle were sold in Saskatchewan the week ending November 3, up from 47,033 head sold the previous week, reported Saskatchewan Agriculture. This is also an increase from 45,153 head sold the same week a year ago.

The Assiniboia Early Childhood Coalition opened the Assiniboia Family Centre on November 7 and it will be holding a grand opening on Monday, November 20. The centre is located in the old library at 110 Fourth Avenue next to the Post Office.
