Cattle numbers drop for spring at the Assiniboia auction
The Assiniboia Livestock Auction held its regular cull cow and bull sale on May 24 with 368 head sold. No heiferettes were sold. D1 and D2 cows dropped slightly selling between $1.05 to $1.20 per lb.

The third annual Justinsane Barbie Car Races wrapped up on May 7 raising over $3,000. This year, the funds were being collected for the Mossbank Recreation complex. The event was hosted by Ardill Hotel at its new location at Ardill Hill.
