Update: Snowfall warning lifted in southeast Saskatchewan

A snowfall warning has been lifted.

UPDATE:

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN - Environment Canada has lifted the snowfall warning for the far southeast corner of the province.

The warning was issued at 11:25 a.m. Thursday and covered Carlyle, Moosomin, Whitewood, Lampman, Oxbow, Carnduff, Redvers and surrounding areas. It was lifted just before 7 p.m.

"The remnants of a Colorado low has brought heavy snow to southeastern Saskatchewan," Environment Canada said when the advisory was issued. "Conditions are expected to improve this evening."

A special weather statement that was in effect for Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle and other communities ended earlier in the afternoon.
